Following a highly successful first year, Star Creation 2011 promises to be more intense and diverse, with higher expectations and standards of submission.

Star Creation, a fashion design competition uncovers new local and Asian talents and grooms them to become the fashion stars of tomorrow. It is a key initiative to promote and develop emerging Asian fashion talents. Ultimately, the event aims to develop the long-term sustainability of Singapore's fashion industry by building capability and profiling local talent on an international platform, here in Singapore.

Pegged on the theme "Internationally Asian" it will feature 12 finalists from Asia. Of these, three winners will be selected and each will be awarded a $10,000 cash prize from Audi Singapore and a one-year work attachment with leading fashion retailer, FJ Benjamin, complete with the opportunity to launch their own capsule collections.

Winners will be announced on May 11 at the Audi Gala Night.

In addition to the winning collections, capsule collections from last year's winners will be showcased on the runway on 18 May during the Audi Fashion Festival 2012.
