INTERVIEW WITH BRYDEN

Hi Donovan and Kai! Can you share more with us about what the company does?

Bryden is a platform that helps fashion brands with the whole aspect from product development to final delivery of their products, with low MOQs requirements, helping to kick start brands and minimizing their inventory risk.

Milestones or significant projects that the company has achieved or taken on.

We have manufactured shoes for SINGPOST, which are being used by their postmen.  We also recently helped to manufacture products for an international motherwear and kids wear brand. Lastly, we have also helped some of the local designers to produce samples for their collections, which were presented at international fashion shows.

How long have you been working with the company?

I have been at Bryden since 2014, so that’s about 1.5 years.

What made you decide to embark on this profession?

It’s my passion to see ideas being brought to life and seeing creativity made into tangible products. I had gone through the pains of finding good manufacturers and managing suppliers for my own brand, which I started when I was still in University. I feel that that with my experience and network that I gained over the years, I could help a lot of brands to overcome a lot of hurdles and mistakes in finding a manufacturer to help make their dreams a reality.

What are your plans for the brand in the future?

Increasing our operations and network of factories will always be an ongoing process for us to allow our clients to tap into our factories capabilities, and we plan to reach out to more international clients by having sales offices in the region and Australia in the next 1-2 years.

How have you/your brand benefited from Taff’s membership programmes?

Taff has helped us to match up with enterprising local brands with their production requirements and we hope to collaborate in other areas with Taff’s support and expertise in the region in the future.
