PROJECT MANAGER

You will assist the Project Director in managing and overseeing the operations, events management, general administration Textile and Fashion Federation (Singapore).

Your responsibilities will include the following:

  • To manage and oversee the implementation of events organized by the Federation
  • Organizing seminars, conferences and fashion shows
  • Support the smooth implementation of the various research projects funded by the government agencies by providing support to the project team  
  • Preparation of budget requests, annual reports and other management reports
  • Manage the servicing and promotion of membership
  • Supervise project executives or staff assigned to your department
  • To submit proposals, claims and reports with supporting KPIs and documents
  • To liaise with Accounts Department and external auditor for claim submissions, billings, payments and contracts
  • To manage the overall budget of each project and submit projected actual profit and loss of each project
  • Other related administrative duties assigned by Director and CE

Requirements:

  • Posses a  University Degree or Diploma  
  • Must be able to communicate well in English and proficiency in Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Preferably with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in events management, hospitality or textile apparel industry, preferably in a managerial position
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel & Word
  • Good analytical, writing, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with a high degree of stress tolerance
  • Meticulous, independent, resourceful, responsible,
  • Possesses hands-on leadership skills, multi-tasking ability and positive work attitude
  • Able to be responsive and adaptive to changes
  • Have the maturity and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with both internal and external parties cross-culturally
  • Good customer service in handling varied enquiries
  • Preferably able to start work immediately
