From its inception in 1981 to now, TaFf aims to steer and support the growth of the local fashion and textile trade and help it make a meaningful impact internationally.
In line with the emergence of the Singapore Fashion and Textile industry from a manufacturing hub to a high value-add services hub, it has initiated various projects to promote trade and consumer interest in fashion and retail, develop fashion talent in Asia, as well as enable communication and reflection within the international and local fashion industry.
Targeting to position Singapore as the top of the mind getaway for fashion buyers, designers and businesses, TaFf has covered the entire value chain with their projects as below:
- Star Creation: Aim to identify promising raw design talent in Asia and anchor them in Singapore.
- Blueprint: Expand the market for Asia fashion entrepreneurs and designers and provide them access to international buyers.
- Asia Fashion Summit: Provide thought leadership on the the business of fashion in Asia
- PARCO next NEXT: Support aspiring fashion entrepreneurs through the initial stages of establishing their brands
- Apparel Singapore: Facilitate sourcing of new markets and expansion of capabilities for mega apparel manufacturers through industry branding.
