Asia Fashion Federation (AFF)
AFF was established on 22 November 2002 with the signing of an agreement between Japan, Korea and China in Beijing. The agreement confirmed a cooperative effort between member countries to utilize fashion resources from within Asia as a means of value-added when exporting to the world. In 2007, Singapore joined up as the fourth member, followed by Thailand on 7 April 2008, represented by TGMA, as the fifth member . Member countries can only be represented by one organization which has the potential and experience to conduct activities in the field of fashion promotion and development

ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX)
AFTEX was formed in 1977 as a grouping of the textile & garment associations of the six ASEAN nations: Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Philippines, and Thailand. Textile & apparel associations from Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, and Myanmar later joined AFTEX after their respective countries joined ASEAN.
The ASEAN Federation of Textile Industries (AFTEX) is a grouping of textile and garment associations of the 10 ASEAN member countries.
Since 1977, AFTEX members have met regularly to discuss policies and implement ASEAN-wide projects, with the objectives of:-
Advocating a common position on international trade policiesPromoting intra-ASEAN trade in textiles & garmentsPromoting ASEAN textiles & apparel to the global marketplace
AFTEX Activities

- Source ASEAN Full Service Alliance (SAFSA) — linking quality-assured textile & garment factories in ASEAN with international customers
- ASEAN Common Competencies Program (ACCP) — enhancing and upgrading garment industry workforce skills in ASEAN member countries
